How it all started.

How it all started.

My passion for fashion, shoes, and accessories began early in my life, sparked by exposure to diverse materials, colors, textures, and functional objects during my childhood.

At the age of 10, I started sketching my own clothing designs, which my aunt skillfully brought to life. Simultaneously, my parents involved me in the renovation of our family home, where I picked tiles, stones, and paint samples. Years later, this early exposure led me to pursue studies in Industrial Design, followed by Fashion Design School and specialization in "Shoes and Accessories" in Florence. My journey continued with a focus on "Création de Luxe et Métiers de l’Art" at UNIGE in Geneva.

As time passed, the pandemic of 2020 struck, and it was during this lockdown experience that the idea dawned on me to create unique table place settings with an artisanal touch.

Intended to unite people, my creations emerged from the poignant reality we all faced: being separated from our loved ones. Many discovered more time for cooking and communal meals, prompting me to infuse more beauty into an otherwise challenging time.

I was moved to witness stories on social media where children were reluctant or frightened to eat their family's cooking as restaurants remained closed. This revelation emphasized the significance of enhancing the dining experience, especially for families who hadn't previously embraced meals together. I realized that valuable quality time spent together was dwindling.

I began designing and crafting these exquisite place settings, initially gifting them to close friends. Encouraged by their enthusiastic response, I ventured into selling them. My aspiration is for anyone gathering around these unique, artisanal creations to feel inspired, fostering an environment for sharing feelings, dreams, accomplishments, and even sorrows—a space enriched with a special touch.

Partnering with suppliers in France and Italy, and harnessing fine Italian craftsmanship, I launched b. design interiors from Switzerland. My aim is to promote connectivity within each home where my creations find their place.
