Circular Economy
One of our favorite projects is to give a second life to textiles and wood.
The circular economy is a model of production and consumption, which involves sharing, reusing, repairing, refurbishing and recycling existing materials and products as long as possible. In this way, the life cycle of products is extended. It is based on three principles, driven by design: eliminate waste and pollution, circulate products and materials and regenerate nature.
In our case, we can create place settings with fabrics that our clients received as a gift from their loved ones, that they bought during one of their trips to a unique destination or that are related to a special moment in their life. This gives them the chance to keep those fabrics close to them together with their memories.
Similar can be applied to wood as well. Furthermore, we can also use wood that was supposed to be destroyed to bring it to life again.
This is a resilient system that is good for business, people, and the environment.
